Lee met us and took us right to the spot we’d be searching. He had everything set and ready to go! He took some time to show us the things we would be looking for and giving a brief history of them. It was extremely cold so he braved the water to bring baskets full of treasure to sift through… this was PERFECT for the littles we had with us! Although it was cold, everyone left with treasures and had a good time!

Lee not only helped us find so many shark teeth he educated us on other fossils we could find. The attention he gave to each group was incredible. He’s very passionate and you can tell her loves sharing this with others. We will absolutely be back even though he’s armed us with so much knowledge. Our daughters wanted to take their mom to hunt for shark’s teeth for Mother’s Day, because she had told them that she had never found one. Well, she found 2 just on the walk to the waterside where everything was set up. The first one Lee, the guide, pointed out to her, the second one she found 3 steps later. Lee, the Guide/Instructor, super friendly told us exactly where to meet him and it was very simple. Quick intros-and he has you follow him to the ocean where he has everything set up and waiting. He gave us a brief history of the area and how everything works weather patterns, tides, etc.. He then pulled out a box to show real examples of what we may find and described the characteristics of each. Then into the water with the scoops and the sifters, a quick, simple demonstration, and in no time, you are lost in your zone collecting find after find. Being from Florida, I thought this would be a waste of money, I was SO wrong. We left smiling with several bags of bounty.
